TAC Internet plans are designed to be straight forward and simple with no hidden traps
We design our plans to protect you so if you make a mistake, get a virus, or were not aware of the implications of your contract you are not penalised financially.
It is important, when considering broadband, to understand what the "tricks" are and how they can result in you being locked into a very expensive LONG contract.

The biggest "trick" is companies that "double dip" by charging for data you download and data you send out.
This means you may only get HALF the advertised data.
For instance if a "double dip" company advertises a plan that includes 200Mb of data then 15c/Mb In truth you may only get 100Mb of download before you start paying the 15c/Mb.
Worse still, you then can pay DOUBLE for your data because you pay for the data going out and coming in.
In fact you could pay TWICE the price for HALF the data then you do at TAC where all outgoing data is FREE.

Even WORSE STILL if you are on a "double dip" plan and you get a virus on your computer
you could send out 20Gb of data before you find out you have a virus
That would cost you $3000, THATS RIGHT $3000 at 15c/Mb you would get a bill for $3000 PLUS your incoming data
If your with TAC that outbound data would be FREE
Additionally all TAC plans are CAPPED this means no matter what happens, what mistakes you make or what you did not understand about your contract you will never be "tricked" out of money by something you where not aware of.

Our advice is before you commit to any contract DO YOUR HOMEWORK and the best tool at your disposal is the INTERNET
For instance if you want to check up on BIGPOND to see if they are reputable or swinderlers do a search in GOOGLE like "big bills bigpond"
